§ 1434. Criteria for granting special exceptions.
Any applicant requesting consideration of a special exception shall provide a written explanation of how the application meets the criteria for granting special exceptions of this section. The board of adjustment shall not approve a special exception application unless it shall have adopted findings that the application meets the following criteria for granting special exceptions: The building or use, if approved:
(a)
Will not impair the purpose and intent of this UDC;
(b)
Will not damage the environment; and
(c)
Will not be injurious to the use and enjoyment of property in the immediate vicinity or within the surrounding neighborhood.
