§ 1929. Meetings and records.

  • (a)

    All meetings of the board of adjustment shall be open to the public and all records of the board of adjustment shall be public record.

    (b)

    The board of adjustment may adopt bylaws which establish regular meeting dates, procedures for calling special meetings, and other matters relating to meeting procedures which shall not be inconsistent with this division or public hearing procedures established in article 13 of this UDC.

    (c)

    Unless otherwise specified by the board of adjustment, regular meetings of the board of adjustment shall be held on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

    (d)

    The board of adjustment shall hold regular meetings unless it is notified by the public development director or designee that there is no business to conduct, in which case the chairperson may cancel the regular meeting.

    (e)

    No meeting shall be held unless 48 hours' notice thereof has been provided to each member.

    (f)

    If special meeting are called by the chairperson, the purposes(s) of the special meeting shall be stated and no other business may be conducted at such special meeting.
