§ 12-34. Evidence of qualification.

Any business required to obtain health permits, bonds, certificates of qualification, certificates of competency, or any other regulatory matter shall first, before the issuance of a county business registration, show evidence such requirements have been met. All businesses shall demonstrate compliance with applicable county ordinances and regulations if requested to do so by the county marshal. Additionally, any business required to collect sales and use tax shall demonstrate that it is properly registered with the state department of revenue and that it is properly reporting sales as occurring in the county. Such demonstration shall include the production of any records reasonably calculated to show such matters and shall occur prior to the issuance of a county business registration.
