§ 22-55. Penalties.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by law, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this article shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, or up to the limits of any penalty provided by state law for the violation of this article. Each day any violation of a section or subsection of this article shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
