§ 26-23. Notification.

  • For the first four violations of any portion of section 26-25 within a calendar year at any premises there shall be no penalty accessed. A first and all subsequent false alarms to a premises within a four-hour period shall be considered as one violation. The county sheriff's office shall notify any responsible person at the premises by United States mail following the occurrence of the fourth false alarm. Notice shall be deemed received by any responsible person if sent via United States mail addressed to the alarm user.
