§ 8-34. Right of entry.

  • An animal control officer or member of any law enforcement or fire protection agency may use any force necessary to remove an animal locked in a closed vehicle when, in the discretion of such officer, the health or safety of the animal is in imminent danger. If the vehicle is damaged during such removal, such officer shall not be liable for any damage to the vehicle.
