§ 8-121. Title and purpose.

The purpose of this article shall be to implement the provisions of O.C.G.A. § 4-8-20 et seq. Relating to dangerous dog control (the "responsible dog ownership law"). Nothing contained in this article shall be deemed to amend or supersede any other ordinances relating to animal control. In addition to penalties and fees provided for in this chapter, violations of this article shall be punishable as provided by state law.
