§ 7. [Salaries; reimbursement of expenses.]

(a)

Commissioners, other than the chairperson, shall serve on a part-time basis and be paid a salary of $10,000.00 per annum. Such compensation shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the funds of Jackson County. Each such commissioner shall also receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred for travel in the performance of his or her duties which have been approved in advance, in writing, by the chairperson, upon presentation of a signed voucher setting forth the expenses incurred in such travel.

(b)

The chairperson shall serve in such capacity on a part-time basis and shall be paid a salary of $15,000.00 per annum. Such compensation shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the funds of Jackson County. The chairperson shall also receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred for travel in the performance of his or her duties.
